NHL 2K is a hockey video game series developed by Visual Concepts for the Sega Dreamcast among other platforms. The series features official licensing from the National Hockey League and NHL Players Association. Originally concluded with NHL 2K11 in 2010, it was later revived for mobile devices in 2014. It primarily competed with EA Sports NHL series during its initial console releases.
