Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow Magician Mode is a fan-created patch for the Game Boy Advance title Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. This modification emphasizes soul usage, akin to the Magician Mode found in Curse of the Moon. Key features include starting with a chaos ring for unlimited soul usage, reliance on intelligence for weapon power, and luck for enhanced item drops, offering a unique gameplay experience.

Castlevania Aria of Sorrow Magician Mode
This is a very simple patch for the game, the idea is to fully rely on souls
like the magician mode in curse of the moon. Enjoying a different experience than the original while using your favorite souls without any limit.
Changes:
1. Obtain the chaos ring at the start of the game. Unlimited souls uses.
2. All weapons increase INT instead of STR/ATK. Making Soma's normal attack
very weak and is mainly used to destroy candles or to destroy enemy bullets.
3. All Armor increase LCK instead of DEF/CON. Soma's defense depends entirely on
his CON, making him more squishy and the extra luck helps with
getting more drops/souls.
4. You get a gun at the start.
5. Some small changes.

It was only possible thanks to the patches posted by Rabite and created by Dev Anj
making it possible to differentiate the power of souls and weapons separately
and make souls more likely to drop by increasing luck. And the help of
the DSVEdit tool by LagoLunatic to easily edit everything.
The most important changes are the following:
1. Obtain the chaos ring at the start of the game. Unlimited souls uses.
2. All weapons increase INT instead of STR/ATK. Making Soma's normal attack
very weak and is mainly used to destroy candles or to destroy enemy bullets.
3. All Armor increase LCK instead of DEF/CON. Soma's defense depends entirely on

5. There were small changes and edits, but nothing big.
Having low defense and weak normal attack forces you to play with the souls
that you have avaliable making it a difference experience that the normal
game and have fun while using souls you never used previously.
