Final Fantasy VI Advance: Worthwhile Espers is a fan-made patch for the Game Boy Advance version of Final Fantasy VI. Released in September 2020, the patch addresses issues with certain espers that provide subpar spell options and level-up benefits, notably Raiden. Updates enhance the spell lists and bonuses for several espers, improving gameplay experience for players.
Several espers in Final Fantasy VI Advance offer underwhelming spell choices or level up bonuses, most famously Raiden who "upgrades" at a loss. Many mods for the SNES original offer enhancements to the problem espers, but there hasn't been one for the GBA port. This project changes that.
Included are patches for the US and European ROMs.

Preface
=======
A few esper bonuses in FFVI have always bothered me a bit: Raiden upgrading at a loss, Ramuh
teaching Thundara slower than Poison, Drain taking forever to learn, etc. There are a few "agreed
upon" changes that needed to be made, but no patch to improve them existed in the GBA port, until
now.
====================================================================================================
4. Raiden
* Teaches Meteor x2 (in addition to Quick x1)
* Gives Speed +1 at level up
5. Alexander
* Gives Strength +2 at level up (to compensate for losing Raiden's Strength +2)

...and all you Final Fantasy fans out there!
