DOOM: GBA Doom Blood Decensoring Patch is a modification for the Gameboy Advance version of Doom that restores the original red blood color and replaces some censored textures with those from the uncensored Jaguar version. The patch includes an IPS file and a custom patcher tool, enabling users to easily modify their ROMs for an authentic gameplay experience.
This patch changes the color of the blood in the GBA version of Doom from green to red. It also replaces some censored textures with uncensored ones from the Jaguar version of Doom, which the GBA version was based on.
The archive contains both an IPS patch and a custom patcher. In order to use the custom patcher you just have to give it the path to your Doom ROM, and it'll saved a patched ROM to your C: drive.
Grn2Red is a conversion tool that turns green blood back to red in Doom for the Gameboy Advance.
It also converts some of the censored textures back to its oringinal texture image. (Based on JaguarDoom)
To use just include the gbadoom rom for the input. The output rom will be placed on root or C:\ drive.
Load the modified rom in your favorite emulator and enjoy.
