Metroid: Zero Mission - NoMap is a patch for the Game Boy Advance remake of the original Metroid. This modification removes all automap features, enhancing player exploration and challenge by eliminating navigational aids like Adam and Chozo hints. A "Lite" version is also available, which only disables hidden item markers, catering to those who prefer a milder experience.
This series of patches hides all automap features from the games, providing a challenge to the player, and a greater sense of exploration that's been absent since the first two Metroids. Without "Adam" or the Chozo pinpointing your next destination, you're free to (re)discover the games on your own terms.
For those who aren't feeling up to the challenge, a "Lite" version of the patch is included which only disables the hidden item location markers.
