Pokémon Dark Rising is a fan-made role-playing game for the Game Boy Advance, developed by DarkRisingGirl in 2012 based on Pokémon Fire Red. The game features all 386 Pokémon from various regions, exclusive signature Pokémon for Gym Leaders, appearances of notable characters from both Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh, and the inclusion of newer generation moves. Players can also access Pokémon with Dream World abilities and enhanced move sets. Each Pokémon Center introduces unique challenges with Nurse Joy and Doctor Roy, who engages players in double battles.
