Pokémon Emerald: Greenless Version is a fan-modified patch for the Game Boy Advance game Pokémon Emerald. This version enhances the visual aesthetics by replacing the predominant green hues in character sprites with a color palette reminiscent of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. The modification includes changes to overworld and battle sprites, as well as various interface elements related to the Trainer's ID and bag.
Did you ever felt like the playable character's palettes filled with green were obnoxious and uncomfortable compared to the Ruby and Sapphire palettes?
Fear no more!
This patch gets rid of the awful green that covered the character sprites.
The sprites were reworked and repaletted to be close to their Ruby and Sapphire counterparts!
The main sprites changed were the overworld sprites for the main character, and the battle sprites (Front and Back) and also everything related to the bag and the Trainer's ID.
This patch is also included into the http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/1991/ hack made by Chronosplit as part of the optional patches pack. I highly recommend that you give that hack a try alongside with this patch!
