Super Mario Advance Color Restoration is a fan-made patch for the Game Boy Advance version of Super Mario Advance, aiming to enhance the game's color palette for a more accurate representation compared to the original Super Nintendo version. While the project is approximately 70% completed, it has been discontinued in favor of other projects. Users are advised to utilize IPS patches and have a compatible ROM to apply the changes.
This is a full color restoration for Super Mario Advance Enjoy!
==Update==
Author submitted a cr160626 version. To be clear, this is -not- a "full restoration", and is maybe 70% completed. Changed ROM information to point at the correct ROM (USA, not Europe).

This hack is discontinued, check out Mister Man's patch instead! https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/6439/
For reference, it is unclear which changes (from SNES to GBA) are deliberate, and which are mistakes. Hoopster being yellow/brown seems like a mistake, since it is red in the manual.
To change it back to red, go to these two addresses and change 21 to 23:

SMB2 is all sorts of crazy. I've changed some of the custom palettes,
so the growy plant/hill thing, flying mask, 1up bubble, and scores
should all be set.
TODO: The sprite palettes are in totally different order from the SNES
ROM, so I just have to hunt them down as I find them during
playtesting. There's probably a few of those left to fix, I've
been working on it on and off. Flashy player palettes (charging
the jump, growing Super) are a pain, I'll try to fix those
later...maybe. Dunno what I'll do about the new jar stuff. I might
try to figure something out for the "choose a player"/slot
machine/level warp screens, maybe. Maybe.
