Tyrian 2000 is a canceled port of the classic PC shooter for the Game Boy Color, featuring vibrant graphics and unique gameplay elements. Players navigate diverse enemies like flying carrot ships and engage in imaginative warfare, including pilotable dragons. Though it was set to bring the Tyrian experience to handheld consoles, the project was ultimately scrapped in favor of a Game Boy Advance version that also did not release.
Flying carrot ships, pilotable dragons, banana warfare, and Microsol trying to turn Ixmucane Deliani into a sun, all in the palm of your hands!
The Game Boy Color version of Tyrian 2000 would have been the first time Tyrian ventured off of home PCs. However, it ultimately was cancelled in favor of the Game Boy Advance version, which met the same fate later on.
