Castlevania: The Adventure is a 1989 action platformer for the Game Boy, developed and published by Konami. The game follows Christopher Belmont as he battles Count Dracula and his minions. A modified version features a graphical hack that alters backgrounds, replacing symbols to align with the lore of Dracula as a demonic entity. The package includes patches for both the original Game Boy and the Game Boy Color versions.
A very simple graphical hack that modifies the background graphics of Dracula's Room to change the Star of David, which is mostly connected to Jewish religion, to that of a proper inverted Pentagram akin to that seen in other Castlevania games, and to be accurate with the in-game lore of Dracula being a demonic being.
The package contains 2 patch files, "Pentagram (GB).ips" for the standalone black-and-white GameBoy version of Castlevania: The Adventure, and another "Pentagram (GBC).ips" for the coloured version of Castlevania: The Adventure bundled inside the Konami Collection Vol. 1.
