-What's New from version 1.0?

Win-By-Decision points edited. I found out where that information is stored on the rom... AFTER I released version 1.0. So here's the new WBD points needed for each Bald Bull

999,900 = Minor Circuit 1
999,900 = Minor Circuit 2
11,300 = Minor Circuit Champ
(The first two fights end in 2 minutes in Round 1 which is why they were left at the impossible score.)

500 = Major Circuit 1
3,000 = Major Circuit 2
5,000 = Major Circuit 3
10,000 = Major Circuit Champ

4,000 = World Circuit 1
5,000 = World Circuit 2
2,000 = World Circuit 3
7,500 = World Circuit 4
10,000 = Final Bald Bull
5,000 = Red Bull

Minor Champion Bald Bull doesn't end in 2 minutes like the first two Minor Circuit fights.

The first two Bald Bulls won't dodge your uppercuts to make it easier to beat them in the 2 minute time frame.

Some other minor changes such as some Bald Bulls won't dodge your uppercut attemps on the first try. Some are harder to get stars from. And your counter-punch damage to Bald Bull is decreased in some of the Major and World Circuit bouts (and increased in the Minor Circuit bouts).

There is a way to get stars from Red Bull in round one. Just think forty-two.

Oh, and Red Bull has an official record now. 79 wins, no losses, and 71 of those wins were by KO. I forgot to change the record before I released version 1.0, therefore, Red Bull had the same record as Mr. Sandman.

One last thing. Hopefully this is my last update for this rom. But during the cast screen at the beginning, It has the road to victory sentence (in Engrish straight from the Gold cartridge of Punch-out released in Japan), and after that, that is where you will find what version you have. If it doesn't list a version, you have version 1.0. Good? Aight. Moving right along...



- What is this hack about?

Basically, when I was toying around with the punch-out ROM trying to figure it out better, I found where the characters are in the rom. So one day, I decided to copy and paste the Bald Bull / Mr. Sandman character over another character to see if it would work. Voila, it worked! I did this to all the characters and they all WORKED.... except... for Mike Tyson or Mr. Dream. It froze when you got to the final boss. So I remembered that the gold version of Punch-out (only released in Japan) excluded Tyson/Dream and the game ended with Super Macho Man. Voila! While tampering with all the character data, I figured out how to change certain parts of the strategy. So I decided to have ALL Bald Bulls different each fight. And of course, I had to make a final boss. An exclusive boss only playable in this rom. Who is it? Red Bull? Oh yeah, I mentioned it earlier in this readme document, huh? What does he look like then, huh? What? A red Bald Bull? Dammit! Anyways...
