Castlequest: Castle Excellent CNROM to MMC3 is a fan-made modification for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by Andrei Vdovin, this patch upgrades the original Castle Excellent ROM by converting its mapper from CNROM to MMC3. Players begin the game with 50 lives, reminiscent of the gameplay in Castlequest. The modification retains the original game's mechanics while enhancing its technical capabilities.
