Contra: New Year 2017 is a fan-made hack of the classic run-and-gun game Contra for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by Jin Ying He Sui and Natsu Time, this version features enhanced gameplay with faster enemies, increased health points, and larger projectiles. The graphics are notably altered to a predominately yellow palette, and stage three has been redesigned to a horizontal layout, resulting in a greater challenge.
