Dig Dug is a video game developed by Namco, originally released for the Famicom in Japan. The Nintendo Entertainment System version later expanded its reach to international audiences, first being made available outside Japan through the Wii Virtual Console. Players control a character who must defeat underground monsters by inflating them or collapsing the soil above them.
