Super Mario Bros.: Dream Mario Bros. is a fan-made graphics hack of the original Super Mario Bros. game, developed by The Super Show in 2017. This modification features altered graphics, palette changes, and new text elements. While it introduces a unique visual style, minor bugs exist, such as issues with enemy sprites in specific levels. The hack pays tribute to the romhacking community and aims to provide an entertaining experience for players.

Dream Mario Bros. is a graphics hack of Super Mario Bros. created by The Super Show in 2017. After a series of failed attempts and tales of woe, our hero decided to make a fresh looking SMB hack using nothing but a broken pencil, an lukewarm cup of coffee, and a lots of classic rock. After much backbreaking work, The Super Show released his hack to the public, after figuring out what exactly an author URL was. The Super Show wanted to give personal thanks to all those amazing Romhackers out there that have kept him amused for many a year. So, here it is, Dream Mario Bros.

-History, Description, and Thanks-

Hey, this is my very first Romhack that I've ever uploaded to RHDN. Or really any website for that matter. I created this out of curiosity, and because a couple other personal hacks that I had created sucked kind of sucked. But this ended up being my favorite of like three SMB graphics hacks.

Many things have been changed, such as text, (I snuck in a surprise at the end!), Pallettes, Graphics, and the Title Screen. Now, there is one bug. In 6-2, the Pirahna Plants go beneath the background. But, I have bugtested it and the hack should work fine. Just patch it to a SMB (JU), (Japan, USA), ect.

I want to thank Romhackers such as Frantik for SMB Graphics Workshop, Shadic for his graphics from Mushroom Nightmare, Yoshi for Excite Mario Bros, Harmony7 for his ancient hack of SMB, Omniverse for Super Mario Remix, an unknown hacker for Hyper Mario, willj168 for Reign of the Koopa, and Nintendo.

So, here it is: Dream Mario Bros.

V1.0: Original release.

V.1.1: Redid some pallettes.

V1.2: 1.1 ended up being a broken patch. So, while I
had the chance to fix it, I fixed the pulleys, replaced
the Goomba sprites and did some text fixing.
