Faxanadu is an action role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom for the Famicom and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan in 1987. Licensed by Falcom, it was later made available internationally by Nintendo in 1990. Serving as a side story to Xanadu, which is part of the Dragon Slayer series, the title reflects a blend of Famicom and Xanadu.
