Final Fantasy II: FF2 US Proto - Japanese Graphics Restored is an English localization prototype for the Nintendo Entertainment System featuring significant graphical modifications from the original title. This version restores four key graphics: Maria's portrait, the cross icon replaced by a gravestone, the unarmed hand icon, and the hexagram icon, each addressed through separate patches designed for this prototype.
The English localization prototype of Final Fantasy II
contains some changes from the original Final Fantasy II. Four of those changes were made to Maria's portrait, where her portrait was given a different hairstyle, the cross portrait, which was replaced with a gravestone, the unarmed icon, which was replaced with a different hand position, and the hexagram, which was replaced with a triangle.
These four patches restore the graphics that were changed, one per patch.
The patches should be loaded up on the English localization prototype of Final Fantasy II.
