A second Super Mario Bros. 3 hack! The levels in this hack are vastly different from the original game, to feel like a completely new experience! Levels don’t start out terribly difficult, but get tricky later on, though they never become unfair. Secrets are strewn throughout the many levels, including new levels for the White Mushroom Houses, with new coin requirements, and the hidden whistle.

Version 1.10
Last Update: April 23, 2005--Found an unused fortress that I'd created, yet never pointed anywhere: guess I forgot to put it in. Anyway, it's now the second fortress in World 4. The original second fortress in World 4 is now the second fortress in World 3, and the original second fortress in WOrld 3 is gone, since it wasn't too great a level to begin with anyway.
Here's yet another hack of Super Mario Bros. 3. But hey, after a few hundred bad Super Mario World hacks, we haven't had enough bad Super Mario Bros. 3 hacks as of late... but this won't be one of them. This may not change the world like DahrkDaiz's Super Mario Adventure, but this should prove for a most worthwhile playthrough.
Also, for those of you still having nightmares about that first Super Mario Bros. 3 hacks I'd made: this one should not be as difficult or frustrating or unfair. Aside from that, the levels themselves have been much better made this time around, for hopefully, an almost completely new experience for those who play the game.
White Mushroom Houses: The white mushroom houses store great items inside. Trouble is, of course, getting them to appear. In a certain level, you must collect a minimum number of coins. Well, at least part of the help is coming: considering the difficulty, I'm listing the levels in which you can get a white mushroom house, though not the number of coins you'll need, hee hee. Even in even-numbered worlds, it may be well worth your time, with a prize better than that stupid anchor....
World 1: 1-2
World 2: The Fortress
World 3: 3-4
World 4: 4-4
World 5: 5-8
World 6: 6-9
World 7: 7-7
The Hammer and You: The hammers you collect in each world can be especially useful. The worlds of the Mushroom Kingdom have many rocks in many paths, so planning for the future can be most helpful. You can get up to 2 hammers in each of the first 7 worlds, for a total of 14. With 42 breakable rocks around, that means you can only destroy a third of them. How, or when, you use them... that's up to you. To help you plan, here's a small list of the number of rocks in each of the eight worlds:
World 1: 2
World 2: 4
World 3: 9
World 4: 7
World 5: 2
World 6: 10
World 7: 2
World 8: 6
The Warp Whistle: Yes, yes, there is the whistle hidden somewhere in the game, though no one is entirely sure where. Rumor has it that wings are needed to find it. Rumor also has it that the name of the level is written in the desert sky. Course, who ever believed rumors, anyway....
