Hydlide is an action role-playing game developed for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Players control Sir Jim, tasked with rescuing Princess Ann, who has been transformed into three fairies by the demon Varalys. Combat involves choosing between offensive and defensive stances, as well as utilizing magic spells. The objective is to defeat Varalys to restore the princess and save the kingdom.
