Lode Runner Grey is a challenging platform game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, serving as the second entry in the Lode Runner Color series. In this installment, 49 of the 50 original levels have been redesigned, while one has been modified for increased difficulty. Players collect gold and escape mines by digging holes to evade enemies, requiring strategic skills to progress through all levels.
This is the second installment in the Lode Runner [Color] series. Just like in Lode Runner Blue,49 of the 50 original levels were completely remade, while the other one has been tweaked to be harder than before. Lode Runner Grey itself is a challenging game that requires the player to have advanced skills so they can beat the entire game!
The goal is to grab all pieces of gold and escape the mine. To do so, the player is equipped with a ray gun that digs holes on bricks. Digging such holes is essential for the game to be beaten. There’s at least one enemy (and at most seven) in each level, which the player must either avoid, trap in holes or use as a tool to reach all of the gold!
The difficulty of Lode Runner Grey is just as high as Lode Runner Blue, so it's strongly recommended to play the original game first, if you're unfamiliar with it.

This hack is way harder than the original Lode Runner, and only slightly easier (perhaps) than Championship Lode Runner. I assure you, all of the levels can be beaten! This hack expands the game in order to add up to SIX enemies, instead of the regular three from the original game!
If you don't know what this game is about, your goal is to grab all the pieces of gold and escape from the mine. All of the levels have at least one enemy which you have to avoid, either by running away or by digging holes on the bricks to trap them and kill them or walk over their heads. Most of the levels need this features to be beaten, digging holes to reach the gold and walking over enemies heads. If an enemy grabs a pile of gold, you can take it from them by trapping them in holes or waiting for them to drop it. If you kill an enemy without them dropping the gold, then the gold counts as if you already grabbed it! Of course, enemies will respawn every time you kill them, and this feature is sometimes necessary in some of the levels of this hack.
I strongly recommend playing the original game or the "Lode Runner Rebuilt" hack first to get the hang of this game if it's your first time playing it, because it really isn't easy and it can get frustrating.
