Mega Man: Mega Man: The Return of Wily

Mega Man: The Return of Wily is a fan-made modification of the original Mega Man for the Nintendo Entertainment System. In this hack, the protagonist confronts a revived Dr. Wily, who aims for global domination using six familiar robot masters, now without discernible weaknesses. Featuring entirely redesigned levels, modified enemy AI, enhanced graphics, and custom music, this challenging game encourages the use of save states for success.

Some of you may have heard about me working on this hack for a while. And I'm proud to announce that it's finally finished!

So anyway, here's the story: Wily has returned to try to achieve World Domination again! He used the same 6 robot masters that he used in his first attempt to destroy Megaman. Only this time, they have no weaknesses! (Or do they?)

This hack features completely redesigned levels, graphics and palette changes, enemy AI changes, and even some custom music! Be careful though, this hack is a lot harder than the original Mega Man, so save states are strongly recommended.

What's been done:

1. Every single level has been completely redesigned, even the ending.

2. The text has been changed.

3. Most of the graphics and palettes were changed.

4. Some of the enemy AI was changed.

5. And even some of the music has been changed.

Story:

Before you start playing this hack, I've set the boss weaknesses so that there's only 1 order you can fight the robot masters in.
It goes in this order:

1.Guts Man (Classic)

2.Cut Man (Forest)

3.Fire Man (Desert)

4.Ice Man (Lake)

5.Bomb Man (Kaboom)

6.Elec Man (Sky High)
