Felix the Cat: Pokemon Y2K is a pirated hack for the Nintendo Entertainment System that emerged following the release of the movie Pokemon 2000. This modification replaces the character Felix with Pikachu and includes graphical edits to enhance compatibility with existing ROMs. It features revised text and artwork, although some graphics remain imperfect. The hack does not support the noDim patch.
When Pokemon 2000 - the movie was officially released in theaters, several pirate carts started appearing in stores with the same name, one of those hacks that was marketed was this, Pokemon Y2K (Pirate cassette that even went on sale within famiclones in the same box) a Felix the Cat hack which was half graphically edited to look like pikachu instead of Felix, with a bit of investigation finally this patch can be applied and does not break the original rom of the game, and have also reissued several of its graphics which some of them were broken or incomplete, not perfect but match, the text was also modified slightly so that the character was no longer called Felix, now he is called Pika. (due to space limitations)
Note: for some unknown reason this hack is not compatible with the noDim patch, sorry for that.
