Mega Man 5: Rockman 5 MMC5 Mapper

This is a patch for Rockman 5, that converts the ROM to the MMC5 Mapper. The most advanced and powerful mapper for the NES. Nothing has been altered from the game other than the game's original MMC3 routines and registers being re-written to MMC5.

It also expands the ROM to 1 MB, so you can have extra programming, and graphics space.

This was originally only released to the public for the japanese rockman remodelling community. But decided to now submit it to romhacking.net

This will only work with a Rockman 5 ROM, NOT compatiable with Megaman 5.

It's intended to be used for the base of anyone's own romhacks.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!
When modifying graphics, please put "background" CHR tiles within the 80010 - BF00F area.

And Sprite graphics MUST be placed in C0010-FFFFF.
They are seperated to allow more graphic space than ever before.

Apply this to a clean Rockman 5 rom.
This also expands the ROM from 512 kb, to 1024 KB (1 MB)

3C010 - 7C00F is now completely FREE unused space for all the programming you want.
