Mega Man: Rockman - Nerfed Spikes

Mega Man: Rockman - Nerfed Spikes is a fan-made modification of the original Mega Man game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. This hack alters the game's spike mechanics to reduce their lethality, allowing players to take damage instead of facing instant death upon contact. Compatible with both Japanese and USA ROM versions, it enhances accessibility while retaining the core gameplay experience.

This hack of Rockman 1 makes the spikes deal only damage to the player instead of instant death. This patch is for a Japan ROM, but can also be applied to a USA version ROM.
