StarTropics is a patch for the Nintendo Entertainment System that converts the game from the MMC6 to the MMC3 mapper. This modification is designed for use with emulators and flashcarts that require ROM hashing for MMC6 support. It is applicable to headered ROMs in iNES or NES 2.0 formats and is compatible with various other patches.
