The main problem that many people had with the original version of
https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2000/ is that it was far too difficult to ever complete for even the most experienced player, let alone an ordinary person. Whether or not completing it from start to finish is even possible and with or without the use of save states is debatable. The fact the game was so ridiculously tough and to the degree of being down right unfair, more specifically in the later parts of the game, took away from it's appeal and more or less diminished much of it's re-playability potential. What this all new modified version does is it vastly improves game play by alleviating some of the pain and stress and smoothing out some of the rough areas. It provides much needed changes to some of the levels while rebalancing the game (without ruining the challenge), and while making the thing finally possible to complete.
