Welcome to my first rom hack
Super Mochtroid:
Based on the introduction sequence in Super Metroid when Samus is telling the story thus far.
- New Samus sprites and animation improvements.
- Updated boss graphics and Ridley fight asm.
- Crouching function
- Most enemies don't exist during door transistions (no more unfair rinkas).
- New beam system and damage adjustments (see README.txt)
Version 1.1
- Current health and missiles are saved upon using an elevator (see v1.1 CHANGELOG.txt for more details)
- Password now saves health as well as missiles.
- New Game starts the player off with 99 health.
- Various changes and bugfixes (see v1.1 CHANGELOG.txt)

1.)INTRODUCTION
WELCOME TO MY FIRST ROM HACK. I BASED THIS HACK ON THE INTRO TO SUPER METROID, WHEN SAMUS WAS TELLING THE STORY THUS FAR. LEVEL LAYOUTS AND GRAPHICS REMAIN MOSTLY UNCHANGED WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE SPRITE TABLES.
2.)WHAT'S IN THIS HACK
* SUPER METROID SIZED SAMUS SPRITE.
* ADDITIONAL FRAMES FOR SMOOTHER RUNNING ANIMATION.
* CROUCHING FUNCTION FOR SINGLE TILE-HIGH SHOOTING.
* SOMERSAULTING ENDS UPON CONTACT WITH THE GROUND RATHER THAN JUMP ORIGIN.
* BOMBS CAN BE PLACED AT ANYTIME DURING BOMB JUMPS.
* ADJUSTED AREAS TO FIT SAMUS.
* SOME PHYSICS CHANGES.
* MOST ENEMIES DON'T UPDATE AS YOU ARE GOING THROUGH DOORS. (NO MORE UNFAIR RINKAS)
* MINIBOSSES ARE NOW LARGER WITH A NEW LOOK AS WELL.
* RIDLEY FIGHT WAS OVERHAULED.
* ICE BEAM FUNCTIONS MUCH LIKE IT DID IN SUPER METROID.
* BEAM OVERHAUL: BEAM COMBO WITH OVERALL DAMAGE ADJUSTMENTS. (MISSILES AREN'T INSTAKILL)

* BOSS HEALTH ADJUSTED WITH THIS CHANGE.
* NEW ENDING SPRITES.
* NARPASSWORD TOURIAN BUGFIX: THE GAME WOULD GET STUCK IN A LOOP IF A MISSILE COLLIDED WITH A WALL AS A METROID WAS DYING DUE TO HOW THE ITEM DROPS WORK IN TOURIAN.
3.)WHAT'S ALSO IN THIS HACK
* ZEBETITES CAN ONLY BE "HIT" AT THE CENTER AND TOP TILES BUT NOT THE BOTTOM.
* CROUCHING CAN CAUSE CLIPPING IN THE GROUND DUE TO HOW THE HITBOXES WORK, BUT ONLY UNDER SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES DOES IT HAPPEN.
* SOME FLICKERING AND GRAPHICAL ANOMOLIES WHEN TRANSITIONING ROOMS.
* CERTAIN CHANGES HAD TO BE USED AS "WORKAROUNDS" DUE TO SOME LIMITING FACTORS.
* ORIGINAL PASSWORDS THAT GAVE ADDITIONAL BEAMS WILL START SAMUS WITH REGULAR BEAM ONLY DUE TO THE CHANGES TO THE BEAM SYSTEM, THOUGH NARPASSWORD WAS ADJUSTED TO WORK JUST FINE. JUSTIN BAILEY HOWEVER, GIVES AN INSTAKILL VERSION OF THE POWER BEAM. (FF DAMAGE)
* MISSILES NORMALLY INSTAKILL ANYTHING THAT ISN'T A BOSS INCLUDING MINIKRAID. THOUGH WITH THE BOSS HEALTH ADJUSTMENTS, MINIKRAID SHOULD GO DOWN QUICKLY.
