Trog: Trog Famicom 2P is a modification for the Nintendo Entertainment System that enables two-player gameplay in the game Trog. This patch modifies one byte of the original ROM, allowing player two to participate and continue using the A button instead of the Start button, which is absent on Famicom controllers. This adjustment is particularly useful for running the USA version on Famicom hardware.
You are very unlikely to need this patch, unless you're wanting to run the USA Trog! game on your physical Famicom, via something like an Everdrive or flash cartridge.
This patch changes one byte of the ROM, making it possible for player two to join the game (and continue when lives are exhausted) by using the A button, instead of the Start button (which a Famicom lacks for the player two controller).
