Since last week's Switch 1 Direct, excitement surrounding the Switch 2 has been rekindled. Much of this buzz stems from some intriguing hints dropped by Nintendo after the Direct, along with fresh speculation circulating in the gaming community. A key focus has been the latest insights about the development kits for the upcoming console.
In a recent episode of the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, insider Tom Henderson shared some intriguing information he obtained from a developer at GDC. He mentioned, "I heard this from one developer at GDC and also heard it separately in an email, but the dev kits, or some of the dev kits, don’t have a 4K output." It’s essential to remember that this detail, if accurate, does not necessarily imply that the Switch 2 is incapable of 4K resolution. Fortunately, with the Switch 2 Direct just around the corner, we won't have to wait long to get clarity.
Exciting times ahead as we gear up for the Switch 2 Direct! Can’t wait to see what Nintendo has in store. 🕹️✨
