Motorsport Games has made an announcement on X regarding a significant shift for NASCAR gaming fans—several titles will be removed from all digital storefronts by December 31, 2024.
This includes fan-favorites like NASCAR Heat and NASCAR Rivals available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, alongside NASCAR 21: Ignition on various other platforms.
Additionally, all downloadable content (DLC) associated with these games will also be pulled from the shelves.
For those who already own these titles, there’s no need to panic. Players will still have access to their purchased games and can redownload them anytime. However, once the deadline hits, anyone who hasn't gotten these games will lose the chance to buy them.
This move appears to be connected to the NASCAR licensing deal transitioning from 704Games—of which Motorsport Games holds a majority stake—to iRacing, set to take effect next year.
