NBA Hangtime is a basketball video game developed by the original team behind the NBA Jam franchise. Released for the Nintendo 64, the game introduced features such as character creation, alley oops, and double dunks. The title change from NBA Jam was due to the acquisition of the NBA Jam name by Acclaim Entertainment. A later arcade update called NBA Maximum Hangtime was also launched.
