NBA In The Zone '99 is a basketball video game developed by Konami for the Nintendo 64, serving as a sequel to its predecessor NBA In The Zone '98. The game features updated rosters and statistics from the 1998-1999 NBA season, new motion-captured animations, an icon-based passing system, and real-time play calling. Additionally, it includes modes such as Exhibition, Season, Playoff, All-Star, and a new three-point contest, with commentary by Ray Clay.
Konami's second attempt of NBA basketball features all the options from the '98 title plus new motion captured moves, an icon passing system, on the fly play calling and up-to-date rosters and stats for the 98/99 NBA season.
