Robo stats have undergone extensive changes to make them more diverse and balanced. The Ray Mk III, Sassy Stunners, Wild Soldiers, Trick Flyers, and even Little Raiders robots have had their designs updated. Greater variety of power differences exist (and are described to the player), stat divergence between members of the same groups is increased, weakening stat anomalies are fixed, and each robo has a distinct description that explains either its strengths or its robo class. See the readme because almost every robot has been modified.
Overall, choosing within a robo class should feel like a more complex decision, with more viable options available.
A few battles have changed, Gravity Gun and Burrow Bomb have been fixed or nerfed, a new bomb is available for use, a new illegal robo and gun are present, and some weak weapons—even Basic!—have been made more usable.

The slow start is over! Almost all legal parts, including robos, are available for purchase in the first three shops. Special Ray models can be purchased at a premium, but you can also wait to purchase them on Encephalon Isle for a lower price (or by completing police missions as you would with X-Ray).
In order to confirm that the mod was successful, the overworld palette of the main character has also changed.
