Pokémon HeroicHeartGold is a fan-made modification of Pokémon HeartGold for the Nintendo DS. This hack allows players to capture the entire Johto Pokédex, excluding Kanto legendaries, within Johto. Key features include updated Pokémon base stats reflective of Generation IX, new evolution methods for trade-evolving Pokémon, and sentence case formatting for all names. Certain trainers also have unique teams for added variety.
Playing Pokémon HeartGold may make one think to themself, "gee, this is fun, but making teams is hard with the routes being full of ratatta." or "This Pokemon would be nice if it could be evolved but there's no one to trade with): " or even "WHY are all the Pokémon are formatted in UPPER CASE". Well, ambitious little friend, this hack fixes all the above!
-The entire Johto dex (minus the Kanto legendries) can be caught within Johto
-All Pokémon have their base stats matching their current stats as of Gen IX
