Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor: Race Relocalizations is a modification for the Nintendo DS title Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. This patch refines in-game race names to better reflect their original Japanese meanings, altering terms such as Megami to Goddess and Mystic to Curse. It aims for consistency with the sequel, Devil Survivor 2, while addressing minor graphical issues within the menus.
The Devil Survivor edition of A Friendly Irin's Shin Megami Tensei race relocalizations. Changes race names to ones that are clearer and more accurate to the Japanese:
Megami → Goddess
Jaki → Wicked
Divine → Angel
Avatar → Mythic
Wilder → Monster
Snake → Wyrm
Fairy → Fae
Femme → Fatale
Vile → Devil
Tyrant → Archfiend
Additionally, changes all instances of the "Mystic" element to "Curse" for consistency with Devil Survivor 2.
Known Issue: The forward slashes in the fusion menus clip into the longer race names. The slash in the "Fusion" menu was successfully removed, but the ones in the "Search" menu as well as the component selector menu are still present.
