Ys III: Wanderers from Ys is an action role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom and originally released in 1989. The game follows protagonist Adol Christin as he embarks on a quest to rescue his friend and confront an evil sorceress. A PlayStation 2 port, featuring enhanced graphics and gameplay, was released by Taito in 2005, allowing a new generation of players to experience the adventure.
