Coded Soul

Coded Soul is an action role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable and serves as a sequel to Folklore, released in 2007. The narrative centers on an army's investigation of the Monolith Gate, a portal to the realm of Idea. Players control Jay, a soldier who gains unique powers from Gale, a boy who enables him to traverse this mystical world and utilize monsters' souls to rescue his girlfriend, May.
