Star Ocean: The Second Story is a role-playing game developed by tri-Ace and published by Enix for the PlayStation. Released in 1998, it is the first entry in the Star Ocean series to be localized outside Japan. The game features a unique blend of real-time battles, exploration, and a multi-character narrative. It was later re-released for the PSP as Star Ocean: Second Evolution.
