The King of Fighters '97 is a fighting game developed by SNK, released in 1997 for the Neo Geo arcade and home console. As the fourth installment in The King of Fighters series, it introduced new gameplay mechanics and characters. The game was later ported to multiple platforms, including the Neo-Geo CD, PlayStation, and Sega Saturn, but primarily in Japan.
