Battletech: Gray Death Legion, was an intended mech shooter game for the Sega Mega-CD and Sega Saturn. Scheduled for release in January 1995 by Absolute Entertainment, it was based on FASA's Battletech universe with first-person action, similar to Absolute's RDF: Global Conflict on Mega-CD. Little is known about the Saturn version. Due to financial challenges at Absolute, the game's development was halted in late 1995. A Mega-CD prototype was unearthed in the 2000s, later receiving a commercial unlicensed release by Good Deal Games.
Battletech: Gray Death Legion is an unreleased mech shooter game for the Sega Mega-CD and Sega Saturn set to be published in January 1995 by Absolute Entertainment, and based on FASA's Battletech universe. The game uses a first-person perspective for the action, and is similar to Absolute's RDF: Global Conflict, also on Mega-CD. Nothing is known about the Saturn version other than being mentioned on some magazines of the time, but it's likely it would've played similarly.
The game was put on indefinite hold in late 1995 due to the poor state of Absolute's finances.
Sometime in the 2000s, a prototype of the Mega-CD version was found, which was later given a commercial unlicensed release by Good Deal Games.
