ESPN National Hockey Night is a vintage hockey video game that was part of Sega CD's portfolio. The game, devoid of an official player license, included all the NHL teams from its era. It featured four gameplay modes, namely, Exhibition, Challenge, Playoff, and Season. The distinct perspectives of the ice, both horizontal, and vertical, added to its charms. Progress could be saved using battery backup. Renowned commentator, Bill Clement, lent his voice for the play-by-play narration.
