Ranma Nibun no Ichi 1-2: Byakuran Aika, exclusive to the Sega CD and released solely in Japan, is the only game within the Ranma series to feature on this platform. The gameplay involves an original narrative that introduces a fresh character, Arisa Nanjo, and focuses on the quest of Ranma Saotome to locate his missing companions. The player, in the role of Ranma, influence the storyline by making choices that are subsequently depicted within animated sequences. A Rock-Paper-Scissors mechanism forms its battle system.
