Syndicate, designed for Sega CD, deviates from traditional mouse control, employing a game controller instead for manipulation. This version features varied coloring on the Heads-Up Display and mini-map, alongside distinctive button markers in pre-mission menus, attributed to the controller adaptation. Further changes include an altered music sound generation system.
The 3DO port controls the game through a controller instead of mouse. The game also has different colors on the HUD and the mini-map, the menus before missions have different button highlights due to the controller, as well as having overall different sound generation for music.
