Wheel of Fortune for Sega Mega-CD, an adaptation of the famous game show, was developed by rightsholders Sony via Sony Imagesoft and Absolute Entertainment, in resemblance to their other game show Mega-CD project: Jeopardy!. It boasts high production values, with animated videos, sprites, and auditory samples from Vanna White and other model contestants. A spinning Wheel, the game's iconic feature, is also included. However, some aspects, such as Vanna's animation, were modified, leaving the letters to flip automatically.
