Ecco: Tides of Time is an action-adventure game developed by Novotrade International for the Sega Genesis. Players control Ecco, a dolphin on a quest to thwart the Vortex, a powerful alien force threatening both his pod and Earth. As he navigates underwater environments, Ecco must solve puzzles and battle various enemies to restore harmony to the oceans and time itself.
