Gunstar Heroes is a run and gun video game developed by Treasure for the Sega Genesis. Players control the Gunstar twins who protect the planet Gunstar 9 from the reign of the ruthless Colonel Red. After kidnapping their older brother and employing mind control, Red threatens the peace, prompting the twins to embark on a mission to rescue him and defeat the tyrant.
