Batman: Revenge of the Joker DX is a modified version of the original Batman: Revenge of the Joker for the Sega Genesis, aimed at enhancing gameplay and introducing new features. The update includes improvements to weaponry, invulnerability during specific moves, health restoration upon level completion, and responsive controls. Enhanced customization options provide players with nine additional costume colors for Batman.

*Electricity and Buzz saw sounds have been removed from stage 2-1 and 3-1 respectively.
*Improved timing for more responsive control.
