Final Fantasy III: Bird Bars is a modification for the Super Nintendo version of Final Fantasy III, also known as Final Fantasy VI in Japan. This patch addresses the Bird Bars glitch associated with Setzer's Slot command, which allows him to summon random Espers. The modification corrects unintended positional shifts when summoning Phoenix or Palidor, enhancing gameplay consistency. Various patches are available, catering to both headered and non-headered ROMs.
Setzer has the ability to Summon random Espers at no MP cost: all you have to do is get three BARs using his Slot command. However, if he Summons Phoenix, he'll end up one step forward from his usual position. If he Summons Palidor, he'll end up one step backward. This patch ensures that he does not shift in either direction.

PURPOSE:
Setzer has the ability to Summon a random Esper via his Slot ability; all you have to do is turn up three BARs, which is not easy to do. However, if the Summoned Esper is Phoenix or Palidor, strange things can happen. If it's Phoenix, he'll take an extra step forward. If it's Palidor, he'll take an extra step backward after landing from the jump. This patch fixes the behaviour of both birds.
