Final Fantasy III: Button Blunder is a fan-created patch for the Super Nintendo version of Final Fantasy III. The patch addresses a graphical error in the game's final scenes, specifically the miscolored buttons associated with Gogo's dialogue. By correcting the color palette from $0D to $0C, the buttons achieve a visually coherent appearance akin to those seen in the Magitek Research Facility, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
At the end of the game, during the scene with Gogo where he (or possibly she) is informed that "both buttons have to be pressed simultaneously", the buttons/switches on the map are miscolored beyond recognition. This is a mistake because changing them from palette $0D to their respective palette of $0C makes them look nice and correct, like the only other switch of this kind in the game that is inside the Magitek Research Facility.
