Final Fantasy III: Chain of Command is a patch for the Super Nintendo version of Final Fantasy III, addressing a bug related to the character Gogo's ability commands. The patch ensures that the command selection reflects the equipped Relics, such as altering "Slot" to "Control" when applicable. It includes multiple patches for headered and non-headered ROMs, enhancing gameplay accuracy.
When you go into Gogo's Status menu to select his battle commands, the list of commands you can choose from does not account for the Relics he has equipped. FakeMustache, for example, changes "Slot" into "Control"; this changes is displayed everywhere except the command selection list. This patch keeps the list up to speed with Gogo's equipped Relics.

AFFECTED AREAS:
SNES: C3/5EC1-C3/5EE0
SFC: C3/651E-C3/653D
GBA US: 08116556
GBA JP: 08116E02
GBA EU: 08117C52
URGENCY:
Low.
PURPOSE:
Certain Relics, when equipped, replace your character's commands with others. For example, the DragoonBoots change Fight into Jump. Gogo can equip these Relics as well; however, if you then go into the Status menu to select the commands he can use, the selection window will show the original commands, not the new ones. This patch ensures correctness.
This patch conflicts with the all-white version of Assassin's "Miscolored command names fix" patch (not the sometimes-grey version), so be mindful of the compatibility patches included for that reason. It also conflicts with his "Brushless Sketch" patch, but not in a way that breaks anything. Just make sure you apply this patch AFTER "Brushless Sketch".
